Physiotherapist

I have worked as a Physiotherapist for over 17 years, qualifying in 2005 from the University of the West of England in Bristol. I worked for 5 years in the NHS before switching to private practice where I have worked in a number of different clinics across Gloucestershire. Since 2010 I have also worked closely with various sports clubs and teams, including Rugby Union, Rugby League and American Football.

Part way through the 2015/16 season I was offered the Head of Medical Services role at National 1 side Cinderford RFC. I have retained my position at the club now for 6 years. I was also Head Physio for the University of Gloucestershire All Golds Rugby League professional team, playing in the Kingstone Press National 1 league.

In 2016, I was fortunate enough to set up my own Physiotherapy Clinic in Highnam, Gloucester, where I continue to treat patients with a wide variety of injuries or physical problems including, sports injuries, work-related or domestic injuries, and degenerative conditions such as Osteoarthritis.

Sports Therapist

I have been working as a Sports Therapist for 6 years, having graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2017. I have been working with Adam ever since, after completing my internship with him at Cinderford RFC. Here, I worked with semi-professional athletes as well as ex-professionals. I was lucky enough to be offered a job at the club on completion of my internship and continue to work alongside the medical team.

In 2019, I was offered the role of Head of Medical at Chosen Hill RFC. I worked for the club for 2 seasons, running medical care and teaching students. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I decided to retire from working in sport and focus on my own interest of playing netball.

As a Sports Therapist I specialise in musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. This includes diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention. I will always aim to get you back to the level you were before injury, whether that’s elite sport or day to day living.

Louise Hall - BSc (Hons) Sports therapy

Sports Therapist

I am a University of Gloucestershire graduate in Sports Therapy with experience in Sports Massage, Musculoskeletal Injury Assessment and Pitch side First Aid with a qualification in Level 2 PHICIS.
I gained my first massage qualification 5 years ago and have since further developed my skill set particularly in Sports Massage. I have experience working in both a private clinic and with multiple sports teams covering various sports including Rugby Union, Rugby League, Football and Hockey. These past 2 seasons I have focussed on Rugby Union in particular, completing my internship at Cinderford RFC in 2021/22 before working with Stroud RFC 2022/23.
My interest in the medical field sparked from my own injuries as a dancer and understanding the frustrations of the implications they have on daily living and for athletes unable to perform to their best standards. I strongly believe in the benefits of manual therapies alongside exercise rehabilitation and nutrition to get you back on track!

Physiotherapist

I have been working as a Physiotherapist for over 4 years now, graduating from the University of Worcester in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.

Since qualifying, I have worked in various physiotherapy roles, particularly in the NHS, in various localities supporting patients in General Medical Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation and in the Community – within individual’s own homes. In the last year I moved away from working in the NHS and began my practise in a private clinic, which I have continued to support individuals to rehabilitate, restoring their health and mobility.

My primary interest in Physiotherapy is in relation to the neurological aspect of rehabilitation particularly in Stroke. Other areas of interests of practise include muscular repair and strengthening, biomechanics & falls prevention. I am certified in sports massage and have recently acquired certification in Pilates, accredited by the Australian Associated Pilates Institute (AAPI).

Outside of work, I do my best to participate in a range of activities to enable me to sustain my health, including running, weight training and cycling. I also enjoy spending time doing activities with my family, supporting my daughter with her school life, horse riding and rock climbing. I also, do a fair amount of gardening which I find very rewarding, along with my attempt in playing the piano.

Sports Therapist

I graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2020 with a degree in Sports Therapy and have been working within semi-professional football since. Starting in September 2020 with Paulton Rovers before moving to Cribbs football club in 2022 where we achieved promotion to the Southern Football league, the highest for the club in its history.

I have a keen interest in sports especially football and cricket which I enjoy playing in my free time and have been doing so since my youth.

In my role as a massage therapist, I aim to help clients by reliving pain and increasing range of movement. Whether that be to help get you back to performing activity and exercise or to help with day to day living.
