Group Exercise Classes
We offer group exercise in a few variations meaning you can choose what suits you best.
Strength and Balance
Our most popular option is our Strength and Balance class that we run at The Harvey Centre in Minsterworth. We can cater for up to 12 people and this class currently runs on Wednesdays at 10.30am for 60 minutes. It is often followed by a coffee and piece of cake in the café on site. This class is perfect for anyone looking to strengthen and prevent injuries or risk of falls as they get older. Each week, the exercises are varied to keep you on your toes! Each exercise can be made easier or more difficult allowing us to cater for all abilities. The class is charged at £10 per person, these are pay as you go classes (please bring cash to pay to the instructor on the day), no need to book, but please check with the clinic before travelling to ensure the class is running this week.
Pilates (Physiotherapist Led)
We run two Physiotherapist led Pilates classes on Wednesday evenings at the Harvey Centre in Minsterworth. A beginners Pilates from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and an intermediate class from 6.45pm to 7.45pm. These classes are £10 per session, booked in 12 week blocks, but we do offer taster sessions if you would like to try them out. Please contact the clinic via email or phone to make a block booking, or arrange a taster session.
Private Classes
We can also offer smaller, private classes in our rehabilitation gym in the clinic. These can be designed for 1 to 5 people. Each class can be booked at a time to suit you within our normal opening hours. If you are wanting to work on something specific, then this is the class for you! Get a group of friends together or just yourself if you prefer, and we can put you through your paces on a more personal level. This class is normally 30 minutes and is charged at £32 (you can spilt the cost however you choose with the other members of the group). We do ask that if you have any particular areas you would like to work on, let us know when you book so that we can plan your session accordingly. Please contact the clinic to discuss availability.
