What Is Sports Massage?

Sports Massage is a form of deep tissue manipulation. You don’t have to play sports or have a sporting injury to benefit from it. It can be used on it’s own for aches and pains, or as part of a treatment plan for a specific injury you may have. Sports massage helps relieve muscular tension, break down adhesion’s (knots), mobilise soft tissues, increase range of movement and reduce pain. The pressure applied during a Sports Massage is deeper than a therapeutic massage but will vary person to person depending on their injury or pain levels .
